JOO HYUN is a Korean born American video editor working with moving images and visual story-telling. Working across art, fashion, music, documentary, and advertising she uses multimedia and video to create innovative stories and creative content.

Her commercial clients include Matt Lambert, Christeene and Peaches, Art Basel LISTE, Not So Ape. Fever Ray, and King Kong Magazine. Joo Hyun's narrative videos have been featured on NOWNESS ASIA, and is included in various contemporary art collections. Recent publications of her video work are featured in Mousse Publishing and Artforum.

She has lectured at Humboldt University, University Viadriana, and Muthesius Academy of Fine Art and Design. In 2021 Joo Hyun became a part of MTV Germany's Pride Campaign, Out! Loud! Proud!  She is based in currently based in Berlin.
